You should not use Hydrocortisone Enema if you have had an allergic reaction to hydrocortisone or recent colostomy surgery. How to Use Hydrocortisone Enema:

Your doctor will tell you how much to use and how often. Read and follow the instructions that came with Hydrocortisone Enema.

Wash your hands before and after using.

Shake the bottle well before use.

Remove the cover from the applicator tip of the bottle.

Lie on your left side with your left leg straightened out and right leg bent and in front of you. Gently put the tip of the applicator into your rectum. Squeeze the bottle gently to release the contents.

Remain lying down for about 30 minutes, so that the fluid moves throughout the left colon. After using the medicine, remove the applicator from the rectum and throw away.
